Florida Business Bankruptcy
How we choose to help you will depend on your plans for your business. The two choices are between a Chapter 7 and a Chapter 11 bankruptcy:
- If you want to go out of business all together, a Chapter 7 bankruptcy will distribute the business assets to creditors. The court will supervise the proceeding and once complete, the business debts will be discharged.
- If you want to stay in business, a Chapter 11 bankruptcy will pay your creditors out of future proceeds and allow you to continue operating.
If you have a small business (under $2 million in assets) or a larger business, we will look at all your resources to determine which filing can better serve you. If your business has IRS liens, state unemployment and workers' compensation liens, or state sales and use liens, we can get the liens removed.
Contact us to speak with a business bankruptcy attorney. We offer free phone consultations and flexible payment plans. Our office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, evening and weekends by appointment. All major credit cards are accepted.
